Going to Türkiye for tourism or business? Depending on your citizenship, you may be able to apply for a visa on the official portal, provided you meet the required conditions. This page walks you through the official application process in plain terms. It also sets out what the Mark Turizm consultancy packages cover, in case you would like help preparing your application.
Important: You do not have to use Mark Turizm’s consultancy. You can apply yourself, directly on the official portal, with no consultancy service at all.
A basic distinction to understand first
Online applications for the visa are not open to every country and passport type. To find out whether you are eligible, you select your country/region, travel document type and travel date in the official system. Mark Turizm’s service does not take the place of the official portal. It is optional, paid support if you would like to prepare your application in a more organised way.
What the visa is for
Official information states that the visa covers tourism and business trips. If you plan to work, study, receive medical treatment, do research or live in Türkiye long term, a different visa procedure may be needed.

What the official visa application usually involves
Treat the steps below as general guidance. The official application screen is where you see your final eligibility, the fee, the validity period and any additional conditions.

Checking eligibility
To see whether you qualify for the visa, you choose your country/region, travel document type and travel date on the official portal.

Reviewing the official conditions
Based on what you selected, the official system lists the conditions that may apply. Some applicants may also need to meet extra conditions, for example supporting documents, a valid visa or a residence permit.

Entering your details
You fill in the official application form with your name, surname, date of birth, passport or travel document number and travel date. Every detail has to be exactly as it appears in your passport.

Verifying your email
A verification message may be sent by the official system to the email address you gave in your application. The application may time out if this step is not finished in time.

Paying the official fee
Where the authorities have set an official visa fee for your country and travel document type, the official system shows it during the application, in line with its own rules.

Downloading the visa
You may get a visa download link from the official system once your application is complete. It is a good idea to carry the document with you on your trip, in digital or printed form.
Which nationalities can get the visa online?
The countries that qualify for the visa, and the rules on visa exemption, may change over time. A recent example is the visa exemption for tourism and transit granted to Australian ordinary passport holders by Presidential Decision No. 11172, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 17 April 2026 and numbered 33227.
The list below follows the countries included on the official website’s eligible countries information page. Appearing on the list does not make the outcome of an application certain. For citizens of some countries, extra conditions may apply, such as a valid visa or residence permit, a supporting document, an age requirement, a return ticket, a hotel reservation, sufficient financial means or other conditions. Always do the final check on the official application screen.

One small error in your details can become a serious problem during your trip. That is why you should go through the points below before you start your application.
Passport details
What you enter in the application has to match your passport or travel document. A wrong letter, date or document number may make the visa invalid.
Validity of your passport
How long your travel document needs to be valid depends on your nationality and travel conditions. Before you apply, look carefully at the conditions the official system shows.
Reason for your trip
This visa covers tourist and business trips. If you are going to work, study, get medical treatment or stay for a long time, you may need to apply by another route.
One application per traveller
Official information says every traveller needs their own visa, and that includes children and infants. When a family or group applies, the conditions set out by the official system must be met.
Fees and extra conditions
Your country, travel document type and personal situation can all affect the official fees and any additional conditions. For the most accurate information, look at the official system while you apply.
Entry is not guaranteed
The visa is an important travel document, yet the authorised officers at the border may make the final assessment on whether you can enter Türkiye.

To be clear: Using the consultancy service is no guarantee that your visa will be approved or that you will be allowed into Türkiye. The total you pay is not the same as the package fee. Mark Turizm’s service fee is the main item you see in the consultancy packages. Where they apply, the payment infrastructure commission and the official visa fee are listed separately.
Ideas about restaurants, events, concerts, theatres, museums, transport or other third-party services are given to inform and guide you. There is no guarantee regarding tickets, reservations, availability or how third-party services turn out.
How the fees break down
Before paying, you should know exactly what you are paying for. Any visa fee set by the official authorities is not the same as the consultancy package fee.
Fee for the consultancy service
Mark Turizm’s optional consultancy service fee is the main item in the Standard, Fast and Express packages.
Any official visa fee
When the competent authorities have set an official visa fee for your application, you see that amount separately from the consultancy fee.
Commission: bank / virtual POS
Depending on the bank and payment infrastructure used, a card payment may carry a commission of about 5%. At the payment step, you will see the exact rate.
What you pay in total
Any payment commission, the official visa fee where applicable and the consultancy service fee together make up your total.
What the consultancy service cannot do
- Mark Turizm gives no guarantee that your visa will be approved.
- Mark Turizm cannot guarantee that you will be allowed into Türkiye.
- Choosing Fast or Express does not make the official authorities decide any sooner.
- Consultancy cannot take the place of the official system.
- The only things the consultancy packages change are Mark Turizm’s internal service priority, how much is checked and how much detail goes into the Türkiye plan prepared for you.

Common questions
Is this the government’s official portal?
No. This page is not run by the government, and it is no replacement for the official portal. Its job is to explain the official way to apply and to set out what Mark Turizm’s optional consultancy service covers.
Is the visa issued by Mark Turizm?
No. The competent Turkish authorities issue the visa electronically, as a travel document, under the rules of the official system. What Mark Turizm offers, if you ask for it, is help preparing the application, checking your information, tracking and guidance on delivery.
Do I have to use a consultancy service?
No, it is entirely up to you. You can apply yourself on the official portal, without involving any consultancy service.
Will Fast or Express get me an official decision sooner?
No. Fast and Express only change things inside Mark Turizm: service priority, reply priority, how much is checked and when your personalised Türkiye plan is ready. The official decision process does not speed up, and there is no guarantee of approval.
Does the package fee cover the visa fee?
No, the two are kept apart. If the authorities have set an official visa fee for your country and travel document type, you will see it separately from the consultancy package fee. It is also collected separately, which lets the transaction be made on your behalf.
If my country is on the list, will I automatically get a visa?
No. The list is general information about eligibility. Citizens of some countries may face further conditions: extra documents, a valid visa or residence permit, an age requirement, a return ticket, a hotel reservation, sufficient financial means or other conditions. You must do the final check on the official application screen.
What kinds of trips is the visa for?
The visa is valid for tourist and business trips, according to official information. Work, study, medical treatment, research, long-term residence or cases that call for a consular visa may need a different way of applying.
